Nettms Urban Habitat Pvt. Ltd. ("Nettms", "we", "our") operates Nettms Academy of AI & Engineering. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
What we collect
- Account: name, email, phone, city, password hash.
- Course interactions: enrollments, payments, sessions attended.
- Communications: messages you post in community, support tickets.
- Technical: IP, device, browser, analytics events (PostHog, GA4).
How we use it
To run your account, deliver the courses you've enrolled in, issue certificates, process payments, send service updates, and improve our programs. We never sell your data.
Payments & PCI
All card and UPI data flows through Razorpay (and Stripe for international students). Nettms never stores card numbers or CVVs.
Your rights under the DPDP Act
- Right to access the data we hold about you.
- Right to correct or update inaccuracies.
- Right to erase your account (subject to legal retention).
- Right to nominate a person to act on your behalf.

Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 7 years afterwards to comply with Indian tax + GST rules. Marketing data is deleted within 30 days of you opting out.
